Laboratory Developed Test

PromarkerD can be delivered by specialist testing laboratories equipped with mass spectrometers.

To make a diagnosis and prognosis of kidney function using the PromarkerD laboratory developed test:

  • The patient’s blood is collected at the testing laboratory’s collection centre.
  • The testing laboratory uses the PromarkerD laboratory developed test (LDT) to analyse kidney function, by using mass spectrometers to measure the concentration of the novel panel of biomarkers associated with kidney decline in the patient’s blood.
  • The results of the blood analysis are sent to the PromarkerD hub for a prognosis and diagnosis of kidney function.

If you are a testing facility interested in offering the PromarkerD test to your patients, please contact us for more information.
