Dr. Andrew Frankel is a consultant nephrologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, with over 25 years of experience in managing all aspects of kidney disease, specialising in the intersection of kidney disease and diabetes management. He has played a pivotal role in shaping UK national guidelines, serving as joint editor of the UK Kidney Association’s guidelines on the use of SGLT2 inhibitors in chronic kidney disease and the JBDS National Guidelines for diabetes management in individuals on dialysis.
